Escape the bustle of Bogotá and explore the legendary and sacred Guatavita lagoon during a tour of two hours walking in the reserve listening to the history of the legend of the gold and the culture of the Muisca Indians by a local guide. Visit the town of Guatavita and enjoy its architecture and particular form of its houses of a single color.

This tour in a private transport and with the ease of stopping at the places you want to take photos and seeing the landscape of Tomine Dam. After picking it up at your hotel in Bogota at 8:00 a.m. in your private transport for a 2-hour tour through the savannah of Bogota to the lagoon of Guatavita. The lagoon that is part of a protected natural area, a guide of English-speaking parks or in Spanish joins the group to explain the culture of the Muisca Indians, the legend of El Dorado and the biological importance of the area for approximately 75 minutes, including a 30-minute walk along a path to the edge of the crater to see Lake Guatavita below.

After leaving the lake, travel to the nearby city of Guatavita to explore the architecture and the environment, including the bullring in the city. On the way, you will see the Tomine Dam, which is 9 km long, and then return to your place of accommodation.
